For Louis Vuitton’s Cruise 2020 collection, Nicolas Ghesquière unveiled his ‘80s inspired collection at John F. Kennedy Airport’s TWA Flight Center New York City. The TWA Flight Center was originally opened in 1962 but was shut down in 2001. LV’s show occurred right before it reopens next week, and it will encompass shops, bars, a hotel, restaurants and more.

Looking inside the futuristic white concrete exterior, the set was transformed into a two-floor stage surrounded by greenery and trees. This season, Ghesquière showcased his signature style with structured pieces that encompassed an ‘80’s aesthetic. Bold patterns, colourful metallics, angular shoulders, and sleek black designs embodied LV’s signature code. A notable piece included an over the shoulder silver sequined crop top accented with blue stones. Perhaps the biggest hits of the collection were the pieces with colours like neon pink, royal blue, gold tones and more.
