The wait is over. Berluti’s new creative director to replace Alessandro Sartori has been confirmed. If you haven’t been keeping up with the brand’s news, let us briefly explain to you what’s been going on with the company. Earlier this year Sartori announced that he would be stepping down to return to Zegna as the artistic director and rumours been spreading via the Internet that the brand was in search for a new creative director. Online fashion gurus have been placing their bets on Haider Ackermann– a Colombian designer known for his edgy womenswear looks– as Sartori’s replacement and their guesses were right as it looks like he is heading to Berluti very soon. Though it’s been a long time since Ackermann unveiled his last menswear line, things are already in the works for this talented designer with his first collection for Berluti to debut in Paris this upcoming January.
