It’s been a long time waiting for Cartier-loving New Yorkers. On September 7, Cartier located on the Fifth Avenue of 52nd street re-opened its door to guests with a makeover. The building – designed by French Architect Thierry Despont – quadrupled in size from a disjointed boutique with four floors, making it the biggest Cartier store in the world. Celebrities and fashion moguls who attended the re-opening night had the luxuries of exploring the entire four-storey building which has a series of salons dedicated to some of the brand’s famous clients of the past: Grace Kelly, Elizabeth Taylor, Gary Cooper and Andy Warhol, just to name a few. Created for special events only, the rooftop terrace was also opened to allow guests to enjoy the city’s skyline while sipping on their favorite cocktails. The notables who attended the party included of Katie Holmes, Rooney Mara, and Chloë Grace Moretz while Ellie Goulding provided the night's soundtrack.
