Celebrating 70 years of your existence is a big deal (just imagine your own!). And if you’re Japanese sneaker brand Onitsuka Tiger, there’s no better way to go about it than with a lucky 7 team-ups with 7 different designers. We've seen the likes of Cinoh and Christian Dada put their own eclectic takes into the 70-year collab. And now, the fifth-in-line is designer Kathleen Kye – creative director of London-based Japanese label KYE – who is crowning her own creative spirit into the collab. Case in point: she’s putting her own take into Onitsuka Tiger’s vintage tennis sneakers GSM, with some bold black and white colour blocking for both your day and night change of outfits, along with a silver zipper replacing your standard laces. Accompanied by an apparel range including a tracksuit and track pants, the star-motif apparel offer a relaxed, roomy fit for comfort – 70 years of experience should assure you that.
