Even fashion’s most progressive dressers will agree that corduroy isn’t for everyone. To look successful in it, you’re either packing charisma like Jeff Goldblum or a devil-may-care attitude like Justin Bieber. (So, you see we don’t really know the best fit either.) As for wearing clogs like a champ, do what Jeff Bezos does and walk around with the kind of swagger like planet earth is your front porch. That said, something peculiar happened when Stüssy and Birkenstock decided to partner up; they have agreed to recreate signature pairs of the latter's Boston clogs fashioned with corduroy uppers that may or may not have altered fashion's space time continuum when the idea was first bounced around in their workshops. But whatever's the case, corduroy clogs are now a reality and it’s hard not to find yourself trying to swipe a pair to roadtest two polarising fashion ideas in one fine move.
