While the rest of the sporting world has been giving couch surfers all the heart-pumping activity on the telly they can stomach over beer and chips, American football has been on the waiting list to be the latest sports to get underway since concluding its previous season in February (those who don’t know what that means, think back to the last time you saw JLo and Shakira perform together). The 101st season of the NFL, like all other major sports, will be a memorable one with new Covid-19 rules in place which will even affect something as mundane as a coin toss. What does that mean for the fans? Well, just know that scoring your respective team merch for this landmark season might be the only way of saying “I was there!” But don’t just look to your team’s official stores for wares as this season as Tommy Hilfiger has teamed with the NFL to create a capsule collection of merch for all 32 teams. What this also means is that there’s less of a chance you’re jersey-clashing with your fellow mates. And let us not forget that these tees, sweatshirts and jackets are seasonless and can be worn beyond 2020 when fans start to pack stadiums again… unless you’ve decided to swap teams, sports, or even planets.
