WATCH: Dior's Fall-Winter 2021 Womenswear Show

For her upcoming fall-winter 2021 womenswear collection, artistic director Maria Grazia Chiuri has partnered with five young international female illustrators to create teasers for the show. As a big supporter of women's rights and feminism, her show coincides with International Women’s Day on March 8.

Watch the show live here on Monday, March 8 , at 2:30pm CET or 9:30pm Hong Kong time. As you wait for the show to begin, check out the five teasers below which were specially created for the event.

 

Teaser by Aisha Madu - The Amsterdam-based illustrator was inspired by It's a Small World, a ride created for the 1964 New York World’s Fair featuring a decor by Disney illustrator Mary Blair.

 

Teaser by Barbara Cero - The Buenos Aires-based animator puts on the kettle.

 

Teaser by Marion Fayolle - The French contemporary illustrator’s work is know for her drawings themed around bodies and human relationships.

 

Teaser by Noriko Okaku - The London-based Japanese artist mixes poetry and a sense of mystery, the animation is also inspired by It's a Small World.

 

Teaser by Teresa Cherubini - This illustrator chose comic strips as her medium for her interpretation of It's a Small World.
