It was just last December that Kate Moss announced her own line of merch, a big move in pop culture considering that images of her likeness interpreted into art have raked in millions in auction alone in the last couple of decades. So the idea of her likeness on a set of wearables – officially approved by her too – ought to be a big deal. And it was, considering the inaugural launch called Eyescapes, sold out in a matter of hours. Featuring an enlarged print of her iris captured by Rankin eight years ago, the organic cotton tees, hoodies and tote bags were launched under KMA Studio, which is an extension of her modelling agency. Now, Moss is relaunching this run of tees and hoodies again with a good cause attached to it. 10 per cent of the sales proceeds per item sold will be donated to the Sightsavers charity, which aims to prevent avoidable blindness amongst the vulnerable population. The collection relaunches on May 3.
