You’re probably asking where does world tennis champ Naomi Osaka find the time. Beats us. In between being a new co-owner of a professional women’s football team and launching her own skincare brand for people with darker complexion, the 23-year-old has also picked up several fashion projects in the last couple of years such as a capsule collection with Adeam, a handbag collab with Strathberry, and even a sneaker with Comme des Garçons, just to name a few. Now, the future tennis hall of fame inductee is adding a new design category to her ever-growing portfolio because, well, only real pros won’t complain about having too many endorsements on their plate. Together with Frankies Bikinis, she is launching a capsule collection of size-inclusive swimwear. It remixes the sporty elements of her day job with the feminine styles she personally favours. Osaka doesn’t shy away from pop colours for her choices either as bright blues and glittery pink make cameos in the summer-friendly collection which also features daring one-piece cut-outs and waist tied bikinis tops. The collection will be launched in two drops, one on May 10 and the other on May 19.
