If you were making pre-season bets to the outcome of the NBA Championships finals, chances are, Milwaukee Bucks weren’t anywhere close to being shoo-ins on your betting sheet. Having beaten the Phoenix Suns in one of sport’s best comeback stories – the Bucks lost the first two games before clinching the next four games for the title – is perhaps worthy of a future screenplay. It was the first title for the Bucks since 1971, a good 50-year wait that MVP Giannis Antetokounmpowas able to deliver for the city on his eighth try. Now, what was even more appropriate was the sight of a bespoke trunk made by Louis Vuitton that housed the prestigious Larry O’Brien trophy. Handcrafted at the historic workshops on the outskirts of Paris, the trunk features all the iconic fixtures that have made Vuitton a kingmaker of luggage and bags for over 150 years. The monogram trunk also features the iconic V symbol on the exterior that opens up to a gorgeous blue velvet padding on the interior that reps one of the official colours of the NBA. Congrats Antetokounmpo and team!
