Dior concurs as it has brought into town a must-see exhibition held at the Brooklyn Museum, which will run until next February. The launch of this fashion spectacle coincides with the start of New York Fashion Week as well as the Met Gala on September 13. What is this Designer of Dreams showcase all about? Along with a first-hand look at sketches and seldom-seen photos, Dior packed a large suitcase of fashion treasures to NYC, filling it wuth designs from the archives, including over 200 haute couture creations spanning decades. A section of the exhibit is dedicated to some of the most prized creations worn by A-listers that have made pop culture history, including that iconic navy slip Princess Diana wore to the Met Gala in 1996. For now, feast your eyes on the latest Dior garments worn by guests at the opening of the exhibition and make a plan to head down at your earliest convenience.
