Just because you’re in denial about reality isn’t going to let today’s best watchmakers spurn an op to tell you about its wares. Hamilton, for example, has teamed up with popular first-person shooter game Far Cry to introduce a wristwatch in the sixth instalment of its franchise. What does that mean exactly? Well, for non-gamers that means being able to wear the Khaki Field Titanium Automatic wristwatch in gameplay, of which it can be attained by lead character Dani Rojas after completing a “dangerous mission”. (Just so you know, Far Cry 6 is about freeing a fictional island from dictator rule so all missions are potentially dangerous.) The game launches in October but if you’re interested in getting this wristwear in real life, it’s probably much easier: just head down to the store or phone your local dealer. Only 1,983 lucky peeps will be able to flex this IRL.
