The City of Lights now has her own slice of Rome. Bvlgari has opened its glitzy accommodation in the high fashion capital of Paris housed in a former ‘70s post office at the start of December to welcome holiday goers hoping to close the year in style. The seventh hotel in the Italian jeweller’s ever-expanding lifestyle portfolio, the Patricia Viel-designed 1,300-square metre real estate is located on the swanky district of Georges V. To christen the opening of this 76-room hotel, Bvlgari and CEO Jean-Christophe Babin invited some fashion week front row faves – Adèle Exarchopoulos, Léa Seydoux, and Carla Bruni – to an invitation-only cocktail party and dinner. The festivities also saw Franco-Chinese artist Yan Pei-Ming unveil a commissioned work of actress Monica Vitti that will greet guests at the lobby. The evening ended with Carla Bruni taking the mic to dish out a few of her tunes.
