Nothing professes your love more for a motor vehicle than spending money on its merch. Just ask the Ferrari and Lamborghini fanboys. Now, Bvlgari is giving the Ducati diehards something new to drool over other than just clothing and accessories in black and red colourways. For this, Bvlgari has brought out its fan favourite Aluminium wristwatch that was relaunched just a couple of years ago after taking a backseat not long after its 1998 debut. The 40mm chronograph version was rightly chosen for this endeavour as it evokes the coolness of leather jackets and windswept hair. The name of the wristwatch is also a dead giveaway for what to expect. The lightweight and robust matte-brushed material makes up the case and lugs whilst titanium is used on the crown and case back. Even the cool black rubber bezel synonymous with this series is a reminder of tyres and asphalt. That said, Ducati diehards will recognise the red dial and black sub-dials from a mile away. But Bvlgari didn’t just make colour adjustments to appease the fans. Peep at the numerals on the dial to notice the same dashing style as those seen on the motorcycle’s dashboard. Even the seconds hand that ticks tediously features a black tip recalling a chequered flag. And if you were wondering where the Ducati co-sign is, flip to the case back for the tribute with its logo taking pride of place on the metal. However, don’t go asking purists for their opinions about this version. Bvlgari made this solely for the hardcore bikers of which only 1,000 of the coolest folks will be able to enjoy this.
