The name Evan Mock might ring a bell: runway model, Gossip Girl star, and a bonafide skateboarder. Not just a pretty face, the multi-hyphenate and workhorse also has his fair share of money-making ventures including being the owner of ready-to-wear start-up Sorry in Advance. Now, the Hawaii-born star is raising the stakes on his style influence by ensuring that anyone looking for sunkissed skin this summer can count on his beach-friendly wares to play an active role. Together with Hawaii-based swimwear specialist Acacia, the 25-year-old wants to deliver those carefree vibes of his birthplace in a collab that aims to build a bridge between his love for skateboarding and the surf culture of his homeland. This 46-piece collection, which Mock designed and Acacia pieced together, doesn’t hold back on the Hawaiian prints with a hibiscus design taking pride of place on two-piece bikinis, Aloha shirts, bodysuits, and even skirts and cycling shorts. Other details on similar cuts include crochet and mesh. Whether you're catching a wave in Bali or rollerbladding in SoCal, Mock wants this collab to be a gentle reminder to simply hang loose again. Oh, don't mind if we do.
