It’s a good evening to be in New York City as the stars are out, and we mean the Hollywood variety. Fendi feted a celebration of its iconic Baguette carrier in the Big Apple for obvious reasons: many would agree that this was the city that helped the Italian-made bag first gain its global footing. Fendi’s Kim Jones is also a huge admirer of New York and has previously stated that he wished he got to experience the days of Studio 54. Judging by the invitation list, he certainly got that wish as the likes of OGs like Grace Jones, the original supermodels, as well as Ms. Carrie Bradshaw, Sarah Jessica Parker, helped to add fire power to the front row and help celebrate the bag that came into our consciousness 25 years ago.
