If your skills on the ice isn’t even at least two per cent of Shaun White’s level, do yourself a favour on your upcoming ski trips – no, not more practise as we’re not that kind of a motivational outlet – try dressing to the nines. Others will notice your fits rather than your face-planting falls. Dior and Kim Jones are giving skiers and snowboarders the kind of swagger on the slopes that matches their usual stylish turns on the street. The new Dior Ski Capsule is designed with the ’gram in mind but doesn’t rule out the performance factor for those who know how to swivel their hips mid-air and landing with total control. Expect some of the most multi-coloured fits you can find in the game, created in collab with Japanese sportswear specialist Descente as well as protective gear with Swedish safety snow equipment expert POC. Some of the hot items are fashioned with a trippy take on the CD Diamond motif which has been rendered to look like a snow-capped peak reflecting a glacial lake or a mirage. There are even stylish ankle boots designed to tackle tricky terrains, which means hiking with it outside of the winter window is not out of the question. Jones has prepped several options for the après-ski experience too, namely crossbody bags and backpacks made of recycled nylon fibre and even tees with insulating properties. And for those looking for the ultimate flex, there are another couple of stylish gradient-toned snowboards released with Swiss brand AK Ski. We're expecting to see you stylin' and profilin' on the slopes.
