If you’re serious about your skiing needs, then you’re probably well acquainted with Spyder. Developed by former Canadian national skier and head coach David Jones in the late ’70s, Spyder is now a fixture in the wardrobe of elite athletes which is supported by its winning cameos on the podium at the Winter Olympics. But don’t mistake Spyder as just an overly serious skiwear specialist without a sense of style or humour. A few years ago it even teamed with Marvel to give Team USA superhero-themed jumpsuits just because. Now, you don’t need to be a pro on the snow to sport a Spyder flex. Supreme has engaged the brand on a line of cold weather gear for anyone with plans to beat the winter chill and look dapper in the process. The spider logo and spiderweb motif play a prominent role in this series. A trio of matching fleece jacket and trous sport a spiderweb motif that also looks like cracked ice, with one even playing on the colourways of Spider-Man’s signature fit. And if you’re open to embracing Peter Parker’s masked appearance, there are also a trio of balaclavas to keep the temperature drop in check along with hiding your identity. The collab is set to launch on December 22 in the U.S. and in Japan on December 24.
