Welcome to Chanel’s very fashionable-looking circus. Walking the runway were Virginie Viard’s ringmistresses, who were looking on-point in multi-coloured tweed uniforms. French artist Xavier Veilhan was responsible again for the fantastical centrepieces on the runway, an interpretation of the objects and drawings found in Gabrielle Chanel’s apartment at Rue Chambon. As expected, the front row was a comforting sight as Viard invited her faves again (so were Lagerfeld’s) including G-Dragon, Vanessa Paradis, Marion Cotillard, Tilda Swinton, Inès de La Fressange, and Charlotte Casiraghi.
