All eyes were certainly fixed on one person at Giorgio Armani Privé’s runway show in Paris: Michelle Yeoh. She earned her first Oscar nom – also the first Asian woman to get the nod in the Best Actress category – just hours prior to her taking the front row for the Italian fashion house. And how fitting that Mr. Armani – the unofficial red carpet outfitter to the stars – was in-person to greet her. We guess it is written in the stars on who will design her gown for the Oscars. As for the haute couture show, Mr. Armani’s play on light and diamond motifs in his wares are a good summary of the evening as the A-listers showed up in support including Carla Bruni, Lucas Bravo, and Juliette Binoche.
