May 6 is one for the history books. In the U.K., it's Coronation Day, which means the crowning of a new King and Queen since the passing of Queen Elizabeth II last September. Such an important moment often means one thing: the merch game will be sweet. And for those who already want to snag a piece to commemorate the occasion, Royal Warrant holder Burberry's already taking orders for a silk square scarf made as a nod to King Charles III. And while the King's portrait and his insignia don't feature here, there is still a gorgeous illustration of a part of his majestic private residence that many know as Highgrove. The print showcases luscious greenery and pays tribute to the many gardens on the real estate. According to the notes, living things of beauty call Highgrove Gardens home such as “wildflowers like delphinium, yellow rattle, snowdrop, ox-eye daisy, early purple orchids, and fritillary”. The green colourway is more than just an aesthetical choice too; it symbolises Burberry's as well as His Majesty's commitment to protect the environment.
